Information We Collect
Dang, I forgot a card! may use information you provide in the app, including selected recipient details, mailing addresses, message text, card selections, handwriting choices, return address information, requested send dates, and order details.
If you use Sign in with Apple for checkout or account identity, the app may use Apple's account identifier and any name or email details Apple provides according to your Apple settings.
Contacts And Address Book Handling
The app may request access to your device contacts so you can choose people to add to your in-app contact list. Dang, I forgot a card! does not upload your full address book.
Selected contacts are stored on your device. Contact names, birthdays, relationships, and saved addresses stay on-device unless the information is needed to place a card order for that recipient.
Local Reminders
Birthday and occasion reminders are scheduled locally on your device in this version. Reminder settings are not synced to Dang, I forgot a card! servers.
Order Information
When you place an order, recipient names, mailing addresses, card selections, handwriting style, message text, return address, requested send date, pricing totals, order status, and related support metadata may be sent to the backend so the order can be priced, processed, printed, mailed, and supported.
Backend infrastructure is hosted by Cloudflare. Order history may be associated with your Sign in with Apple identity so you can view and receive support for your orders.
Payment Handling
Payments are handled by Apple Pay and Stripe. Dang, I forgot a card! does not store full payment card numbers.
Stripe may receive payment, tax, transaction, and fraud-prevention information needed to process checkout and related refunds.
Card Fulfillment
Handwrytten is the card fulfillment provider. Dang, I forgot a card! sends Handwrytten the fulfillment details needed to write, print, and mail your selected card, including recipient and sender mailing details, card selection, message text, and order metadata.
Crash And Error Diagnostics
Sentry may receive crash reports, error diagnostics, and minimal privacy-safe event information so we can understand failures and improve reliability.
We do not intentionally log contact names, handwritten messages, recipient addresses, full payment card details, or full Apple identity data in diagnostics.

Website Privacy
This website does not use analytics, cookies, external tracking scripts, external fonts, or third-party embeds.
Data Retention
Local contacts, reminders, sender profile details, and drafts remain on your device until you remove them, clear app data, or uninstall the app.
Backend order records may be retained as needed for fulfillment, support, accounting, fraud prevention, security, and legal compliance. Fulfillment and payment providers may retain records according to their own legal and operational requirements.
Deletion Requests
You can request account deletion from the app or by contacting support. Account deletion removes your backend account identity and anonymizes backend order records where legally and technically possible.
The app may also offer controls to clear local contacts, reminders, sender profile details, and drafts from your device.
Children's Privacy
Dang, I forgot a card! is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
